Editorial: In a nutshell: The Metroid Prime trilogy comes to an end on the Wii, using not just the console’s improved graphical abilities but also the full range of the controller’s features. Half first person shooter, half Zelda style Sci-Fi adventure this is destined to be one of the best games of the next generation. The lowdown: The Wii remote and nunchuck have what seems like an infinite range of functions but of all the games shown so far this is the only one that seems to use every single one. Although there is still a lock-on option for attacking enemies you can now play the game more like a first person shoot ‘em-up as you target enemies instantly, just by pointing with the Wii remote. All of the buttons, including the D-pad, are used to access Samus's various abilities, which are added to with new uses for the grappling hook. This now works like a whip, allowing you to nab enemy shields by simply flicking the nunchuck (which also has a motion sensor in it) forward. Most exciting moment: The best bit of the lengthy E3 demo is an amazing boss fight with regular series villain Ridley, as you both fall through a giant energy shaft. Not only do you have to dodge his attacks but you have to beat him before you both end up splatted at the bottom of the shaft. Since you ask: The game’s graphics are noticeably improved from the GameCube titles, with much more detailed enemies and much larger game areas. There’s also a lot more enemies onscreen at once, as well as apparently friendly fellow bounty hunters. The bottom line: The legendary series evolves again, with the best use of the Wii’s controller yet. HARRISON DENT

"An educated guess...." - 9 October 2006
Well, as this game isnt even out yet no-one can really know what the hell its gonna be like, but hey, we can guess. From the look of various trailers your horse plays a juicy role in this game, far more so than epona in OOT who was a simple mode of fast transport. Also it looks like most of the traditional zelda items have a new feature bolted on for good measure like the boomerang being able to whip up a miniture tornado and the hookshot now being called the clawshot. Also bomb arrows are rumored to be in it which have to be a bonus- I always wanted to blow up annoying bats on the ceiling and it looks I finally can. Also you can become a wolf, in a vaguely similar way to how you could transform in majoras mask. If you ever had a deep desire to spread rabies around a fantasy world now is your chance! My final point is to do with the atmosphere and look of the game, which quite simply are both incredible (again judging from the trailers). Visually, the gamecube version could probably be passed off as an xbox 360 game and atmospherically speaking it is dark, totally different to the cartoony (but still good) Wind waker. If you have ever liked a zelda game in your life, which is a fair few people out there, then this game is a pretty safe bet for pre-ordering as there is a 99% chance you'll love it. (come on, have nintendo failed us yet?)

"** WARNING **" - 1 October 2006
Be aware the prices of this and other games are currently RRP, which means currently you pay the same price as XBox 360 titles!
Look around elsewhere, until amazon drop their prices.
Zelda, more of the same, a great adventure said to be bigger than any other Zelda game before it. For a Zelda fan it's going to be a great Xmas.

"Well actually...." - 11 May 2006
Th guy who wrote the last review is almost write. The next Legend of Zelda game for the Wii IS Twilight Princess! Nintendo have announced that they will release a Wii version AS WELL AS a Gamecube version. The Wii version will take full advantage of the new controller, and watching in action is unbelievable XD.
The Wii and Twilight Princess (for both consoles) will be released 4th quarter this year

"Patience..." - 17 February 2006
Who ever wrote the other review on this game is a complete moron... The Legend of Zelda: Revolution has not even got a release date. The only Zelda game to be released anytime soon is The Twighlight Princess for the Gamecube, which you will be able to play on the Revolution when it is released as it is backwards compatible. There are a few rumors that Nintendo has coded the game so that wen played on a Revolution, you can fully take advantage of the new controller. Remember though people only rumors! I give this 5 stars in the sheer anticipation of how awesome this game will be.

"Can't wait" - 12 June 2006
I'm wetting myself in antisipation of this game which will be the gamecubes finest and last hour and the best launch title for the wii. The footage and screen shots ive seen of this leave me drooling at the mouth. The graphics are unbelievable and very detailed and the prospect of using the wiimote as well is mind blowing.I cant wait to swing the mote like a sword use it like a bow and go fishing (and i hate fishing). It better live up to all the hyp and antisipation tht surrounds it otherwise nintendo will hve a lot to answer for. But for now it looks like to be a making of a classic.

"This game out shines all others" - 10 February 2006
i went to Japan for about 15months and was able to play the ultimate game the lengend of zelda on the(nintendo revolution)i had previously played it on the n64 its one of my alltime favourites its immense graphics and super game play and its practicallity gives it all the more reasons to go out and buy it. Its mind blowing it took my breath away to see such an achievment from nintendo they had done it again and created a superb game i played on it for hours i was hooked and just could not get off it. Its brilliant and it has a new character called Elliot Langly who in the game is the worst character and very small but he is zeldas accomplish. Its quite funny how Elliot wears make up and loves to dress up in girls clothes which makes me laugh every time. Elliot falls in love with Qamar Bashir who works in the computer shop yes computer shop this game has updated its self to the future and no more country side its all the big city. You have to use Qamar though out parts of the game who all with fights side by side with elliot to do a good job. I have told you a little of what the game offers now its up to you to buy it
