"This is Awesome, best ever game for the GC and nice console" - 28 November 2005
Dont be put of by the people saying the Gamecube is a kids console, it isnt. There are lots of games for all ages, just like the ps2 and xbox. Just look at the Res Evil series, True Crime 1 & 2, From russia with love & GUN, these arent kids games. Anyway this console looks great with half black half platinum and a cool Res Evil 4 Name plate, the console itself is very powerful (more than a ps2) and the game is probably the best looking game i have every played. This is a must have !!!

"Nice little console with a fantastic game" - 6 September 2006
Ok the gamecube does not have the variety of games that the PS2 or the Xbox has but then again the gamecube has the best version of resident evil 4 and amazon still selling the rest of the games.
The gamecube as we all know is a nice little compact console unlike the OLD PS2 and the xbox and and easy enough to carry about.
This pack as stated you get resident evil 4 which is possiably the best resident evil game although personally i have a soft spot for resi 0 and 2.
With some of the other gamecube only titles like Mario sunshine Zelda (god knows why but people do like them) Metroid Prime and of course Mario Kart DD. ontop of that you also can get the Mario Party range which is actually a lot of fun with a few friends. If you cant wait for the Wii buy this. Well worth the money

"WHOAH...." - 27 September 2005
WOW.When the Gamecube came out i thought it was a peice of junk, how wrong was i.I was probably too busy playing Metal Gear Solid to faff about with Mario and Kirby. But then i brought the Resi 4 'Cube.wow.I have never been a fan of Resi 4 but when i saw screenshots of the PS2 version i thought "I have to buy that game." And when i saw it was coming out in December on ps2 i hit the floor in anger,"I want it NOW!"I thought. But then i saw the Resi 4 Special edition 'Cube for such a cheap price i thought "I have to buy it." and i did and let me tell you the game is great,It will Probably be the most essential £90.00 you fork out all year.End of story.

"Wow, what a deal" - 11 August 2005
I used to own a gamecube a while ago but decided to trade it in for an X-Box, what a fool i was. Many people believe that the Gamecube isn't as powerful as the other consoles (PS2 and X-box) when in fact it is just as good, if not better than the PS2. The PS2 has the worst graphics of all the consoles in my opinion. When was the last time a great looking game came out on the PS2? GTA:SA didnt have the great looking visuals of Resident Evil 4 by far. Also, the discs for the Gamecube may be smaller, but are better and can hold more info. The controller is far more practical and comfortable then the X-Box's giant monster and the classic PS2 pad, and has 4 ports for great multiplayer gaming on games such as Mario Kart:DD. Then there is the amazing game that is included! I fist played it at a friends house and was wowed by its brilliance. Resident Evil 4 has the best graphics and gameplay I have seen on a game in a long while. Now many people say Halo 2 has better graphics and they may be right, but the gameplay doesnt compare. Halo 2 was boring after a while whereas Resi 4 keeps you going for hours. Just inviting your mates over and seeing who can survive longest on the Mercenaries Mode. There is also the matter of the great death sequences, sometimes I let myself be killed just to see them. Imagine running around a village, a horde of evil villages after you when you turn a corner and suddenly see one of them there bearing down on you with a Chainsaw! He then proceeds to decapitate you, sometimes with one quick sweep, other times he has to saw through slowly to cut the bone. Sheer Brilliance. You are tense from start to finish. Many people say that the Gamecube doesnt have a wide variety of games but it does, and not just kiddys games, there is the full Resident Evil series (excluding the naff outbreaks) , the Zelda's , Metroid Prime 1 and 2 and many more. Even the kiddy games like Mario Kart are great! All in all i regret trading in my Cube for a crappy X-Box and I am immensly glad that I got another eventually. The price is a heck of a lot less that the other consoles as well, so get out and BUY ONE!!! (from amazon of course)

"Happily surprised!" - 21 April 2006
I had a collection of Amazon vouchers to use and I love the Resident Evil games so I decided to get this when I read the reviews of the games said it was amazing (I didn't really believe this to be honest).
I knew how small and compact a GameCube was so there was no surprise there (it is a nice size, small enough to not be in the way but not too small you are worried you will break it).
I had never really played a GC before. I tried a few games when the GC first came out but nothing else. Needless to say I loved RE4. It is an incredible game and the graphics were amazingly good (get an RGB scart if you TV has an RGB scart socket, well worth the money!). The game itself is great, just how a RE game should be and more.
Once I completed RE4 I decided to pick up a few games for the GC from the preowned section in my local GAME store. I got Metroid Prime and Beyond Good and Evil. I had played BG&E before and loved it and on the GC it was just as good. But Metroid Prime was just amazing. I really liked Halo on the Xbox (not loved but liked a lot) and the TimeSplitters on the PS2 but Metroid Prime was the best FPS on any of the current gen colsoles. It is superb in almost every way. Graphically it is stunning. Gameplay it is great. In fact the only way it was a let down was it didn't have multiplayer :( Metroid Prime 2 solved this problem (which I also bought) and is just as great a game with the added fun of multiplayer!
There are also lots of just "fun to play" games for the GC which I have found in the past few months. I wish I had picked up a GC earlier in its life as it is a great console. I own all 3 of the current gen consoles now however I do not have a favourite. They are different systems and do different things better than each other. The GC is a great gaming party system with games like Mario Tennis. It is also great for kids of all ages. Not to mention the price is/was great (not so much now the PS2 and Xbox are cheaper).
Overall the GC is an excellent console. It may not have GTA or Halo but it has games of equal excellence available for it, also the games are now so cheap (most games I buy are £5-10 preowned) it is a great system if you want a games console with having to spend much money. Oh yeah it has Zelda on it too ;)

"just buy it....." - 11 July 2005
This console gets 5 stars just for Resident Evil 4.I bought this bundle just for the RES4 game. (I already own an Xbox) - I have always been a fan of the RES EVIL series It totally exceeded all my expectations, I had no idea the Gamecube was so powerful. If you like survival horror, you will LOVE this, the replay value is worth the cost of the console itself. Just buy it - you will not be disappointed.

"whats a console without a wide variety of good games?" - 16 June 2005
Personally, im not fond of my gamecube stood against my xbox and ps2.i find the gamecube pretty boring as it hasn't got a range of good games like gta, halo or kotor.the only thing that makes the gamecube worth buying is because of its very few decent games like zelda, metroid and mario. Although, i do highly recomend it to any one who are quite young,as there are a vast range of colourful and child friendly games. If i were still a child i would give it a 5 OUT OF 5,but because im not it gets 3.
