Due for release in time for Christmas 2012, the Wii U is the successor to the hugely successful Wii Console. Nintendo are breaking new ground again with a tablet style controller with it's own screen and front facing camera.

Game will be played in conjunction with the controller screen and the normal TV. A number of retailers are already taking Wii U Preorders as supply issues may well dog the new Wii U console as it did it's predecessor.

New ground has again been broken with the release of the Nintendo 3DS console. The latest in the family of the DS console range features a unique screen delivering 3D images without the need for silly glasses placed over your eyes.

Again, depending on demand, Nintendo may struggle to produce enough 3DS Stock in sufficient volume this Christmas and stock shortages will be a definate possibility.

Since the initial release in April 2008, Wii Fit has been an incredible success story for Nintendo.

However, throughout 2008 Nintendo struggled to cope with the demand and stock shortages ensued similar to the previous Wii console stock shortages of Christmas 2007.

Nintendo have now announched the release of Wii Fit Plus, which is an improved version of Wii Fit with new exercises and routines. With a UK release date of 6th November 2009, this is sure to rekindle interest and again stock shortages are likely with Christmas approaching.
